Basically, we've had a HUGE reshuffling at school recently, but in such a way that it is literally like living at Hogwarts in Order Of The Phoenix. Soooooo, for completely random reasons and despite the fact that no one will understand what I'm ranting about, I've decided to name all the teachers affected after HP characters.
New 'executive principal' is Fudge - unseen but still sticking his nose in. Actual principal is Umbridge because our old Head LITERALLY disappeared overnight (Dumbledore!) and she's the replacement. My Citizenship teacher is Trelawney because everyone's glad that she's leaving, biology teacher is Hagrid cause he's awesome but can't teach for shit and is also moving on, and my English teacher is McGonagall, because she's leaving as well, and despite being a LOT younger she is just as much a badass and we will all be sad to see her go.
(We also have a history teacher who's level of boring is on a par with Professor Binns, but he's staying and is currently of no consequence).
Also, I can't help thinking that if they'd held a parents' meeting to discuss the Hogwarts changes like they did for my school, and any of the attendees had been anything like my mum then Fudge would have been left gasping like a plimpy out of water and the reform would have stalled then and there. I'm so proud of how she tore their argument to shreds earlier this evening.
. 'Course, it's not going to change anything, but still...And I am going to protest all I can over the uniform that is being introduced. I PLAN TO BUY FANDOM TSHIRTS AT AUTO ASSEMBLY AND I NEED SOMEWHERE TO WEAR THEM DAMMIT.
